In DDA II this year I have learned a new skills each unit. In Unit A I learned the importance of giving and receiving critiques. In Unit B I learned how to create compound objects, surface and parametric modeling, and how simulations, particles, and forces are used. In Unit C I learned about textures, maps, materials, shaders, UV mapping, and renderers. In Unit D I learned about different types of lightnings and how they affect shadows. In Unit E I learned how to work with cameras in 3D modeling to function like real-world cameras.
Conclusion:
I have learned that creating a 3D scene takes a lot more work than I thought. Throughout the year I had to use Clara.io to model and this was a new thing for our class so we were all learning together. This year I have improved my 3D modeling skills in Clara.io by looking up videos to help me when they were not provided in class. It was very challenging to get through the year without having the ability to access all the things required in the curriculum. In some cases people that did not have access to 3ds Max would have to do a worksheet because Clara.io does not provide all the tools 3ds Max does. Though I did not have access to 3ds Max I would always persevere to learn the 3D modeling techniques on Clara.io.
